Tasty Summer Sangria

This spring we have had an awful lot of rain and even more pesky black flies. Ugh! But just recently we had a much needed sun filled weekend, and let me tell you – it was HOT. Like mid July hot and we loved every minute it.

My dear friend invited us over to her house, to cool off in the pool and lounge with drinks in hand. I quickly threw together this delicious tropical Sangria to share amongst the Mom’s.

It was definitely a hit. I loved the sweetness of the berries and touch of citrus from the orange. I also loved that this recipe didn't call for any added sweaters (like simple syrup), it really didn't need it.
