Our Favourite Summer Drinks

Posted by Perfect Party ...in a box on

With the end of summer fast approaching (insert sad face here, haha), we thought we would reflect back on a few of our favourite drinks this summer.

Jenna’s go to drink this summer is a lightened up version of a Gin and Tonic. It’s a light and refreshing drink with a lot less calories, yay! We like to call it the Super Sonic Tonic Drink.

Here’s what you need:

✔️ Fever Tree Tonic Water

✔️ Fever Tree Soda Water

✔️ Hendricks Gin

✔️ Crushed Ice

✔️ Your choice of garnish- Jenna’s preference is a kumquat but if your more a cucumber person go for it!

Simply fill your cup full of crushed ice (we love ice!). Pour in 1.5oz of Hendricks Gin, top with Soda Water and then add a splash of tonic water. Gently stir and add your choice of garnish.

You can certainly use any brand of soda, tonic or gin. However if you haven’t tried Fever Tree or Hendricks we highly recommend it. This drink is has just the right about amount of flavour, it’s not to sweet or tart. The flavour of the fantastic Gin stands out and it certainly quenches your thirst!

Although Nicole wasn’t able to enjoy the Super Sonic Tonic this summer ( because of a new little babe that will make his/her appearance in the next few months, Yippee), she was still able to keep cool with a simple Lemonade-Ice Tea mix.

Here’s what you need:

✔️Simply Lemonade

✔️Nestea Ice Tea

✔️Ice

✔️ Lemon Slices for garnish

This one’s easy peasy- add some ice to your glass and fill the glass half full with the lemonade then top with ice tea. Be sure to give it a good stir- or even a shake if you're feeling fancy. Add your garnish and enjoy!

Check out these glasses perfect for either drink!

Here’s hoping we have many more weekends of sitting lakeside enjoying these super refreshing drinks. What are you favourite summer drinks? We’d love to hear!

Until Next Time

Keep Partyin’
